For those who were born and live in Cayo Hueso, this is one of Havana’s most valuable contemporary and historic sites. At first glance, it is like many others in Havana: full of bustling energy, everyday sounds and impressive decaying architecture. Yet it is a neighborhood like no other: the birthplace of Cuban rumba and filin. In addition to Afro-Cuban religions, Key West is home to some of the world’s most important rumberos, musicians, composers and creatives.

We are honored to be part of the community of Cuban entrepreneurs who value this intrinsic history. Together we are dedicated to preserving the musical and cultural legacy of Key West by making Tribe Caribe a thriving cultural space with unparalleled hospitality in our 11-room boutique space filled with stories to tell.
